Javiera Sothers joined Bailey Kennedy after finishing her law degree at UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Sothers externed for the Honorable Eric Johnson, Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County, Nevada; and she was a Research Assistant at Wiener-Rogers Law Library.

Ms. Sothers was the Symposium Editor of the Nevada Law Journal for Volume 25 and organized the law school’s first in-person symposium event after the pandemic, titled “Shadows of Confinement: Illuminating Public Health Struggles Behind Bars.” Upon graduation, Ms. Sothers received the Dean’s Award for her contributions to the event. 

Ms. Sothers primarily practices in the area of commercial litigation.
