Partnership Between Bailey Kennedy and Cristo Rey St. Viator Continues

LAS VEGAS, NV (August 7, 2023) Bailey Kennedy, LLP is delighted to welcome five Cristo Rey St. Viator students for the 2023-2024 school year. This year sees two students from the 2022-2023 school year return to continue their on-site work experience. The firm is excited to welcome three new students and looks forward to introducing them to a law firm office environment.

Since the school’s inception four years ago, Bailey Kennedy, LLP has participated in Cristo Rey St. Viator College Preparatory High School’s Corporate Work Study Program. Bailey Kennedy, LLP’s participation in the program is aimed at giving teens with limited economic opportunities a chance to experience a relevant work environment along with their college preparatory curriculum. The law firm employs four students a year to learn a variety of skills ranging from office culture to work responsibility.

High schoolers who attend Cristo Rey St. Viator gain hands-on experience, as well as an extensive knowledge of office dynamics and work etiquette through the work study program. The Cristo Rey model developed in 1996 in Chicago, Illinois to provide quality education to students who are economically limited, with students earning their tuition through the work study program and learning valuable skills for their future. Cristo Rey St. Viator College Preparatory High School has been open in North Las Vegas since 2019 and is the first of its kind in Nevada.
