As the holiday season approaches, our team at Bailey Kennedy is proud to continue a tradition that has become a meaningful cornerstone of our firm’s community engagement.
For 16 years, we’ve partnered with the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada to participate in the Candlelighters “Adopt a Family” program. This annual initiative supports families whose children are battling cancer by helping ease the emotional and financial challenges that can come with the holiday season.
Each year, our team embraces this tradition with full participation, whether shopping for gifts, donating, or wrapping presents. Beginning around Thanksgiving, team members thoughtfully select items from each family’s wish list, ranging from toys and games to household essentials and holiday needs. Once the gifts are gathered, we enjoy coming together to wrap them with care before delivering them to the families we’ve been honored to support.
The goal remains the same: to bring a sense of joy, normalcy, and festive spirit to families navigating difficult circumstances, and to lighten their load so they can focus on making holiday memories together. Candlelighters plays a vital role in the Las Vegas community, supporting hundreds of families annually and ensuring children affected by cancer feel seen, supported, and celebrated during the season.
Giving back to our community is a cherished part of who we are at Bailey Kennedy, and this tradition of generosity continues to inspire us each year. As we reflect on the season, we are grateful for the opportunity to share hope, joy, and a little extra cheer with families who need it most.
