Bailey Kennedy, LLP, is expanding their team with the addition of three new associate attorneys: Joe A. Morgan, Isabel C. Osorio and Javiera A. Sothers. Each brings strong academic credentials, valuable legal experience and a commitment to the firm’s tradition of professionalism and client service.
Morgan joins the firm after earning his law degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV. Originally from Wales, Morgan received his undergraduate degree in physics from the University of Oxford before beginning his legal career as a trainee UK and European patent attorney in England. He later clerked for Justice Kristina Pickering of the Supreme Court of Nevada and will focus his practice on appellate advocacy and commercial litigation.
“Bailey Kennedy fosters a collegial atmosphere. Everyone is so helpful and friendly,” said Morgan. “People are willing to spend time explaining, training, and mentoring, which is hugely valuable.”
Osorio, a Las Vegas native, graduated cum laude from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV and previously clerked for Judge Maria Gall of the Eighth Judicial District Court. Osorio will focus her practice on commercial litigation.
“What drew me to Bailey Kennedy was the culture of collaboration and high-quality work, and the emphasis that is placed on giving associates the tools to become great litigators,” said Osorio.
Sothers, also a graduate of the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV, brings experience externing for the Honorable Eric Johnson of the Eighth Judicial District Court in Clark County, Nevada, as well as serving as a Research Assistant at the Wiener-Rogers Law Library. Sothers will also concentrate her practice in commercial litigation.
“The best part of working with the team is the sense of camaraderie,” said Sothers. “Even with demanding schedules, the attorneys always make time to share their insights and guidance. The firm has an authentic open-door policy, and it really shows.”
